National Harbor Food & Wine Festival
This Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, the inaugural Food & Wine Festival at the Prince George's County National Harbor offers a lineup of lectures, demos, and tastings studded with local and national big-name chefs. To include Michel Richard of acclaimed Citronelle and Central, pastry chef David Guas, formerly of Ceiba and Acadiana, and Robert Wiedmaier of Marcel's and Brasserie Beck (btw: all restaurants I love). David Koz, world-renowned saxophone player, platinum-selling recording artist, and popular radio host will add a touch of jazz to the NSO Pops final concert of the season. Conducted by Marvin Hamlisch and also featuring up-and-coming teen jazz vocalist Nikki Yanofsky.
